We were honored to attend a stunning dinner party this past weekend. From the table setting to the outdoor lighting the whole experience was breathtaking. We immediately came into the office looking for inspiration for our own outdoor spaces. Here are our three essentials for entertaining outdoors:

Veranda Cover

We were super inspired by this month's cover of Veranda and noticed that we had some similar pieces featured in this room for sale at our shop on One Kings Lane. The use of rich blues, Italian gilt, and chinoiserie accents seamlessly work together to create this beautiful room. One thing we love to do when designing a room is to mix multiple styles together, such as a beautiful gilt Italian mirror with Chinoiserie ginger jars. It is a great way to modernize a space and give it an eclectic feel. We would love to hear some of your favorite decorating tips!

Deer Valley

This Christmas, SWI Vintage's Tenesa Wildermuth, and her family traveled to Deer Valley, Utah and spent five beautiful days skiing. While they were out there, she captured these breathtaking shots and we wanted to share a few of her photos with our followers. As much as Tenesa loves vacationing in the sun and spending time at the beach, she said there is something so special about the vast mountains and natural beauty they experienced while skiing. She also loved all of the cozy cabin decor of their resort and said it was the perfect setting for Christmas.
