NY Fashion Week: Fall 2014
Every year, twice a year, the worlds hottest and most renowned fashion designers gather in New York to showcase their newest collections at the New York Mercedes-Benz Fashion Week. The Fall 2014 runway shows have come and gone and we couldn't help but pick up on the ever so classic white trend that was highlighted this year with clean, simple lines in fitted menswear and long maxi dresses. Here at SWI Vintage, we love to pull inspiration from the fashion world when designing.

Seeing Red
Red has always been a super hot color, from red wine to the red carpet this color always makes its mark. It is a classic, bold, attention-grabbing color that is super hot in both fashion and in interiors. Bring home design and fashion together with touches of red in all different shades. We love the look of adding one big statement piece in red to give a room a pop of unexpected color.

Crazy About Cameos
Cameos have been around forever, with some of the earliest jewelry pieces dating back all the way to the third century. Although Cameos are not a new trend, they are as popular as ever. We have been collecting vintage cameos for years, and we love to see how much attention they are getting lately. On a recent trip to Paris, SWI Vintage's Tenesia Wildermuth, stopped by the delectable Ladurée French bakery. While there Ladurée announced the launch of their new brand, Les Marquis de Ladurée, totally dedicated to hand crafted chocolates which include chocolate cameos. From chocolates, to shoes we are crazy about anything with cameos! See some of our favorite cameo inspired looks and the Les Marquis de Ladurée announcement below.

C. Wonder
Up and coming lifestyle brand, C. Wonder offers a fresh selection of clothing, home decor, accessories, and even an on-site monogram shop! Founded in 2011, by Tory Burch's ex-husband Christopher Burch, C. Wonder now has twenty stores open nationwide and is recently available to shop online. C. Wonder comes to life with a preppy & chic style that is mixed with bright colors and this season's trendiest patterns. In this months issue of Architectural Digest, Margaret Russell, Editor in Chief, wrote, "Christopher finds quiet color schemes ho-hum." We couldn't agree more. SWI Vintage's Anne Shananhan recently visited the new store that was opened in Indianapolis and snapped some pictures for us!
